Roadmap

Work is starting very soon on adding a checkout app that links from a facebook add to whichever curated list of products were clicked on. This will only handle checkout and tracking etc will be via sms.

This service current has mobile app that the drivers use. We intent to replace this with a web app that will be more bespoke to our workflow. Shipday pricing will rise too quickly so the new implementation will also be more cost efficient.

Work is currently start on a redesign that will focus on mobile first, app like experience. After design the new UI will be implemented on the white labeled sites.

Work has started to migrate this to SolidJS.

This will move to PantryClub admin.

After moving web and admin we will then only expose the API endpoints needed by PantryClub. This API can be in GO or a Javascript option like Hono.

We will move the database to Planetscale MySQL as it works better with transactions and reading multiple rows. Tigerbeetle is a very strong option if it is available when we start the migration.

Work is starting soon with an outside company that will setup the implementation for the data lake. We plan to put Addabit and PantryClub data in the data lake so we can create reports across both. Reports will also move from admin to whichever business insights tool we use. Currently we favouring AWS and Quicksight.
